Instagram doesn't have a list button, but bullet points are just text characters, so you can paste them anywhere. Copy a bullet, paste it at the start of each line, and you're done.
•
Add bullets to your bio
- Copy a bullet from this page (• is the classic choice).
- Open Instagram → your profile → Edit profile → Bio.
- Paste the bullet at the start of a line, add a space, then type your text.
- Tap the return key for a new line and repeat. Tap Done.
The bio limit is 150 characters, and each bullet plus its space counts as 2 characters.

Bullets in captions
Captions work the same way. Write the caption, paste • at the start of each line, and add line breaks. To keep an empty line between paragraphs, put an invisible character or a single · on the blank line, because some versions of the app remove empty lines.
Make a list in one go
If you have a long list, paste your lines into our bullet list maker. It adds the bullets for you, including sub-points (◦), and you copy the finished list into Instagram.
